Workshops and Conferences

Since the moment of foundation in 1999, the Organization has been holding rich educational work within the framework of which workshops, conferences and tournaments on actual environmental topics are held.

Audience: pupils, volunteers, students and postgraduates, teachers, lecturers of high educational institutions, doctors and scientists. Many of them are united by the participation in various programmes of our Organization or closely interaction with it in certain areas.

The main directions:

  • Ecological education and raising awareness for children and adults;
  • Ecological medicine and rehabilitation of children and adults;
  • Health and development of children;
  • Personal development and development of a holistic world view;
  • Exchange of professional experiences.

For the third year, those who are engaged in the development of school gardens, promote the ideas of organic farming and teach students agricultural techniques and the basics of rural business, meet at the International Dialogue Forum to exchange experiences and be inspired by new ideas.

April 4-6, 2017 Green Cross Belarus NGO invites to take part in the Workshop “Economic Aspects of School Ground Operation”

On June 16, 2016, three organization’s employees, Elena Popova, Yuliya Zhukovskaya, Vitold Zenkovich, took part into the seminar on organic farming held in Krevo village, Smorgon district.

On March 29-31, 2016, biologists of the Green Cross Belarus NGO, Sergey Nekhaychik and Denis Feofanov, underwent the workshop “Earthworms and Soil Fertility" held by the “Grin-PIK” at the school n.a. Professor A.M. Igonin (Kovrov town).

On March 22-24, 2016, the workshop “School Grounds as a Model of a Green Economy in a Local Community” was held at the Green Cross Belarus NGO Educational Centre within the framework of which the participants discussed various issues regarding organic agriculture and an opportunity to carry out network experiments on grounds of rural school of Belarus.
