The project "In My Homeland" presents the works of young artists, animators and photographers

The awarding of the winners of the contests "In My Homeland" and the opening of the final exhibition of the 19th International Art and Graphics Contest will take place on 27 April 2024 in the educational centre of the Green Cross Belarus NGO (Smolevichi district, Minsk region).

Young artists, cartoonists and photographers, winners of three contests, as well as their teachers and parents at the invitation of the "In My Homeland" project team will be able to visit the place where experienced teachers-artists annually review and select children's drawings, cartoons and photographs from around the world, and as a result an exhibition of children's creativity is born.

This year the exposition will include about 600 works that received Medals and Laureate Diplomas in the nominations "The World of Theatre", "Collage", "Pencil" and in the traditional free theme "In My Homeland". As usual, the jury had to make a difficult choice from more than 6 thousand works, which were sent from 15 countries of the world. The works of representatives of 13 countries can be seen at the exhibition: Argentina, Belarus, Bulgaria, Hungary, Kazakhstan, China, India, Moldova, Poland, Russia, Serbia, Turkey and Uzbekistan.

On this day, the winners of art and graphics, of cartoon and strip-film, of photography contests will receive their awards from the jury members, contest organisers and partners of the Green Cross Belarus NGO during a solemn ceremony.

Children and adults will also have an opportunity to get acquainted with the centre and its inhabitants during the excursion, take part in art and nature studies workshops, visit exhibitions about protected areas and water resources of Belarus.

The ceremony will be attended by representatives of the ministries of the Republic of Belarus, diplomatic missions, public figures, artists, performers and jury members.

The programme will start at 11.00.

If your work has been awarded and you have the desire and opportunity to receive the award personally from the hands of the organisers, jury members or partners of Green Cross Belarus, please submit an application for participation in the award ceremony by 24 April 2024.

The awards to the winners who will not be able to participate in the award ceremony will be sent by 1 July 2024.

The award ceremony and the exhibition are organised by the Green Cross Belarus NGO with the support of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection of the Republic of Belarus and the International Union of Pedagogical Artists (Moscow, Russia).

Organised groups can visit the exhibition on weekdays by appointment. Entrance is free.
