The artistic educational publications issued by GCB were presented to professionals in the field of tourism

The manual "Dnepro-Sozhsky Reserve" and sets from the series "Along the Rural Roads of Belarus" were presented to the researchers and practitioners in the field of tourism, as well as teachers, graduate students and students within the conference "Development of international tourism and hospitality in the Republic of Belarus in the context of global and regional transformations", which took place on March 26, 2026 at the Faculty of International Relations of BSU.

As part of a joint presentation, Liudmila Skakun, a GCB specialist, told about the history of the appearance of the manual and sets, traced the stages of their creation and drew attention to their features. Based on the topic of the report "With a pencil in Belarus: getting to know natural and cultural objects through an artistic image", the emphasis was placed on the artistic component and the potential of coloring books as a way to deepen and better capture the impression of a place. Anastasia Yungina, one of the leaders of the GCB Family Club, spoke in more detail about the latest set from the series "Along the Rural Roads of Belarus" – "Slobodka", drawing the audience's attention to the uniqueness of the relief and the features of its formation, which are explained in detail in the set and have a high potential for organising popular science trips.

The conference also discussed the challenges faced by the tourism sector of Belarus, especially during the pandemic period, as well as current challenges and ways to overcome them, the specifics of attracting foreign, particularly Chinese, tourists to Belarus, the importance of a high level of training for guides, the role of inclusivity in shaping the modern concept of hospitality, the need for marketing and cultural analyzing a foreign tourist's needs to create an attractive tourist offer and increase the flow of inbound tourism, principles of operation of online travel platforms. Certain museums – the Museum of the History of Minsk, Loshitskaya Manor, the Khatyn Memorial Complex, the Museum of the History of the Great Patriotic War, and the Museum of the History of the Belarusian Railway – also presented themselves and their programmes in terms of objects of interest to tourists and talked about the possibilities of visiting them.
