The Union of Artists of Azerbaijan, the Azerbaijan State Art Gallery, the Khatai Art Center, and the Khatai Children’s Art Gallery invite children aged 5 and under to take part in the exhibition “Scenes That Will Become Memories” ("Xatirə olacaq səhnələr").

The project aims to foster children’s interest in the world around them and in art, promote their socialization, and encourage them to visit galleries, museums, and other educational spaces together with their parents.

The organizers emphasize that the exhibition is not a competition of artistic skill. What matters here is the pure childlike imagination, the child’s inner world, and their own perception of the surrounding reality. Every child’s drawing, even what seems like mere scribbles, is considered a reflection of a certain feeling, thought, or moment of childhood, which over time can turn into a valuable memory.

If your child’s drawing pleases, surprises, or makes you think, you can send it to the organizers.

The age of participants - 5 years old or under.

Work size no more than 20×30 sm.

The application should contain

• scan or photo of picture;
• work's title;
• author's name;
• birth date;
• address and contacts;
• work size.

Deadline for application submission is December 20, 2026

The work must be created exclusively by the children themselves, without any outside interference. The drawings selected by the jury will be presented in an online catalogue and at an exhibition. Each participant whose work is presented at the exhibition will receive a certificate.

Participation is free. Foreign citizens can also take part in the project.
