The Non-governmental Organization “Green Cross Belarus” in collaboration with the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection of the Republic of Belarus supported by the International Union of Artists-Teachers  announces the 17th International Contest of Art and Graphics “In My Homeland”.

Topics of the Contest:

“In My Homeland” is a traditional free topic of the Contest.

“Signs of the Times. The Present and Past around Us”

The world we live in is diverse and changeable. If a time machine could transport us 20-30 years ago to the same place where we are today, we would observe some details and notice that a lot had changed. We would see changes in the streets, schools, yards, cafes, theatres, cinemas and people. What are the signs of the past and present that surround you?

“Patrons and Heroes of My Small Homeland”

This is a topic about people which are remembered in the families, city and region. Guardians living in heaven that protect the place we live in, and courageous people who committed heroic acts – they all support and help us.

A brief story about a significant person or event related to them should be attached to your work.

CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION IN THE CONTEST:

1/ The age of participants ranges FROM 5 UP TO AND INCLUDING 18 YEARS.

2/ The work has to be CREATIVE and INDIVIDUAL made DURING THE YEAR OF THE CONTEST. 

NB. THE WORKS ARE CHECKED FOR PLAGIARISM!

3/ The work may be of ANY SIZE; do not put it either in a frame or passe partout. A REGISTRATION FORM is attached to the back side of each work. The registration form has to be legibly filled in. Please use block letters when filling in the registration form.

4/ Works submitted for the Contest are not reviewed and ARE NOT TO BE RETURNED to their authors. The Organizers retain the right to use original works and reproduce them in order to promote and develop the Contest, to use in methodical and charity activities without the author's consent and without an author’s fee.

ADMISSION OF WORKS STARTS ON OCTOBER 1 AND LASTS UNTIL DECEMBER 31, 2021.

We ask all the participants to use the services of REGULAR or EMS post. DO NOT INDICATE the value (price) of the goods on parcels.

RESULTS OF THE CONTEST:

The jury is going to consider the works in February 2022 and determine PRIZE and DIPLOMA winners. Works of prize winners will be included into the final exhibition and will become available in the electronic gallery on the Contest’s website www.children-art.org.

The 17th INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION OF ART AND GRAPHICS “IN MY HOMELAND” is to be opened in April 2022.
