Exhibition "Plain-air Artworks" (Azerbaijan)

The Union of Artists of Azerbaijan, the Azerbaijan State Art Gallery, the Khatai International Watercolor Gallery and the Khatai Art Center invite artists over the age of 18 to participate in the Plein-air Artworks project aimed at developing professional artists' skills of direct study of nature and a more complete reflection of its real image in works of art.

To participate, you must send an application to the email address plener2026@gmail.com, with attached photo of the work indicating its name, size and technique of execution, the author's surname and first name, date of birth and contact information.

The subject matter and technique of the work are not limited. Each author can submit up to three works of no more than 35x55 cm in size. Foreign artists can also take part in the exhibition.

Participants' age are over 18.

The term of works submission ends on September 25, 2026.

Based on the results of the selection, 100 artworks will be selected to be presented at the exhibition. An online catalog will also be prepared. After the exhibition ends, all the artworks will be returned to the authors.
 
10 artists, whose works will be recognized as the best, will receive an invitation to a special etude tour. All participants whose works will be included in the exhibition will be awarded certificates.
 
Participation in the exhibition is free of charge.

The project is being implemented by the Union of Artists of Azerbaijan, the Azerbaijan State Art Gallery, the Khatai International Watercolor Gallery and the Khatai Art Center with the support of the Azerbaijan State Academy of Arts, Azerbaijan Television and Radio Broadcasting CJSC, the Executive Authority of the Khatai Region and the Union of Artists of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.
