"In My Homeland" project presents the works of young artists, cartoonists and photographers

The awarding of the winners of the contests "In My Homeland" and the opening of the final exhibition of the 20th International Painting and Graphics Contest will take place on 25 April 2025 in the GCB educational centre (Smolevichi district, Minsk region).

Young artists, cartoonists and photographers, winners of three contests, as well as their teachers and parents at the invitation of the project team will be able to visit the place where experienced teachers-artists annually review and select children's drawings, cartoons and photographs from around the world, and as a result an exhibition of children's creativity is born.

This year's exhibition included about 600 works that received Diplomas of I and II degrees in the nominations "My Window", "Collage", "Sketch", "Series" and in the traditional free theme "In My Homeland". As usual, the jury had to make a difficult choice from 6.5 thousand works, which were sent from 17 countries of the world. The works of representatives of 16 countries can be seen at the exhibition: Belarus, Bulgaria, China, Hungary, India, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Poland, Russia, North Macedonia, Serbia, Slovenia, Spain, Thailand, Turkey.

On this day the winners of painting and graphics, animation and strip-film and photography contests will receive their awards from the hands of the contest organisers, jury members and partners of Green Cross Belarus during an awarding ceremony.

Children and adults will also have an opportunity to get acquainted with the centre during a tour, take part in art and nature workshops, try their hand at various logic games, and meet the inhabitants of the mini-farm (you can bring a treat: cabbage, carrots, seeds).

The ceremony will be attended by representatives of the ministries of the Republic of Belarus, diplomatic missions, public figures, artists, performers and jury members.

Registration starts at 11:00 am.

Start of the programme at 12:00.

The award ceremony and the exhibition are organised by Green Cross Belarus NGO with the support of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection of the Republic of Belarus and the International Union of Teacher-Artists (Moscow, Russia).

Organised groups will be able to visit the exhibition on weekdays by appointment. Entrance is free.
