The Green Cross Belarus Non-governmental Organization in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection of the Republic of Belarus supported by the International Art Public Organization (IAPO) “Union of Artists-Teachers” announces the 13th International Contest of Art and Graphics “In My Homeland”:

TOPICS:

“In My Homeland” is a traditional free topic of the Contest.

The most interesting works submitted to the Contest are usually those based on your personal impressions, experiences and events. Try to take a closer look at the world around you and reflect what didn’t allow you staying indifferent. It may be something unusual or familiar to everyone since re-discovering usual things is also a task for an artist. We would like to have works with such “discoveries” in the Contest.

“A Journey on the Native Outskirts”.

Glossy magazines tell us about “pastures of Heaven” of far countries inviting to have a rest and travel there. It seems to us that the most interesting, unusual and intriguing things happen and were happening exactly on the endmost lands of the earth. As a rule, it happens due to our ignorance or addiction to what is next to us. The purpose of such a journey should be the search for motives, plots, objects that haven’t attracted your attention before. Take a journey on your outskirts, share your discoveries and knowledge!

Each topic is a separate category. The jury will estimate the work separately for each of them.

The topic of a work submitted to the Contest must be indicated when filling in the registration form.

CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION IN THE CONTEST:

1/ The age of participants ranges FROM 5 UP TO AND INCLUDING 18 YEARS.

2/ The work has to be CREATIVE and INDIVIDUAL made DURING THE YEAR OF THE CONTEST.

3/ The work may be of ANY SIZE; do not put it in a frame nor passe partout. A REGISTRATION FORM is attached to the back side of each work. (You can download the registration form in .doc on the Contest’s website and the Green Cross Belarus Non-Governmental Organization. The registration form has to be filled in a print format.)

4/ Works submitted to the Contest are not reviewed and ARE NOT TO BE RETURNED to their authors. The Organizers retain the right to reproduce them in order to promote and develop the Contest, to use in methodical and charity activities without the author's consent and without an author’s fee.

ADMISSION OF WORKS STARTS ON OCTOBER 1 AND LASTS UNTIL DECEMBER 31 2017.

We ask all the participants to use the services of REGULAR or EMS post. DO NOT INDICATE the value (price) of the goods on parcels.

RESULTS OF THE CONTEST:

The jury will consider the works in February 2018, determine prize and diploma winners. Works of prize winners will be included into the final exhibition and will become available in the electronic gallery on the Contest’s website www.children-art.org

The 13^th INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION OF ART AND GRAPHICS “IN MY HOMELAND” is to be opened in April 2017 in Minsk.
